Are you a parent of a child hospitalized with a chronic or long-term illness—or facing a life-limiting diagnosis?
At Kellan’s Legacy of Love, we provide heartfelt support to families walking the incredibly difficult path of long-term hospitalization, complex medical conditions, or pediatric hospice care.
You are not alone. We are here to help.
Our nonprofit was created in memory of Kellan Reynolds, a brave little boy who endured countless hospital stays due to mitochondrial disease. In his honor, we bring comfort, dignity, and love to families like yours.
Here’s what we can offer your family:
For Families of Chronically or Long-Term Hospitalized Children:
• Personalized care packages for your child with toys, blankets, room décor, and comfort items tailored to their interests
• Hospital room makeovers to transform cold medical rooms into warm, joyful spaces full of color, light, and personality
• Support for siblings with age-appropriate gifts or activities so they feel remembered too
• Gift cards for gas, groceries, takeout, or even coffee to help ease daily stressors during hospital stays
• A listening ear and emotional support—from someone who understands this journey firsthand
For Families Receiving Pediatric Hospice Care:
• Compassionate guidance to help families prepare emotionally and practically for what lies ahead
• Memory-making opportunities such as helping decorate the child’s room, delivering keepsake items, or honoring special milestones
• Comfort kits for the entire family, including cozy items, candles, journals, or relaxation tools to bring peace to the home
• Ongoing emotional support—during the transition to hospice and after, as you grieve and heal
• Help navigating wishes and celebrating life in a meaningful way, respecting each family’s values and hopes
Our goal is simple: to wrap your family in love and remind you that you are not alone.
If your child qualifies or if you know a family who could benefit from this kind of care, please visit KellansLegacyofLove.org to apply for support.
Whether it’s a smile during a hard hospital day or a gentle hand through hospice, we are honored to walk beside you.
