Who We Are

Our History

Kellan’s Legacy of Love is a heartfelt nonprofit organization founded in memory of Kellan Reynolds, a vibrant and loving boy who tragically passed away at just 9 years old from mitochondrial disease. Despite his challenges, Kellan brought joy to everyone around him, with his sweet personality, love for fire trucks, washing machines, and his favorite toy, Mr. Potato Head.

Kellan’s journey inspired his mother, Donna, to create this organization as a tribute to his incredible spirit and to support families with children facing medical challenges. Through thoughtful initiatives, Kellan’s Legacy of Love provides comfort and care to these families during their most difficult times. Whether it’s delivering toys, blankets, room decorations, or gift cards, the organization ensures families feel loved and supported. We also offer emotional guidance, particularly for those transitioning to hospice care, helping families understand the process and cope with the overwhelming emotions involved.

Kellan’s Legacy of Love is not just about providing items; it’s about creating moments of joy and hope. From hosting family fun events and toy drives to partnering with local businesses and community members, the organization fosters connections and builds a compassionate network for those in need.

Since its founding, Kellan’s Legacy of Love has touched countless lives, honoring Kellan’s memory by spreading love, comfort, and kindness. It’s a testament to how one child’s light can continue to shine and inspire a community to come together and make a difference.
